What does a successful e-commerce owner's life really look like?

I have always been interested in what real life is like for those who have succeeded in e-commerce. The typical account of successful shop owners tends to focus on revenue screenshots, large sales figures, and people talking about having escaped the 9-to-5. However, I am more interested in what their normal lives are really like.

Could you be in your fifties now, enjoying some relaxation on a yacht in the Bay? Perhaps you're in your late twenties and living a carefree life in Miami? Or maybe you're 33, earning a good income but staying low-key and leading a calm life in your apartment? I'd also like to know what kind of products you're selling. Are you operating a clothing brand, selling beauty products, dropshipping, or running a totally different type of business?

I think the kind of e-commerce business you run has a lot to do with the lifestyle you eventually end up with. Some businesses may bring in a lot of money but require you to be available all the time, whereas others may offer you more freedom. When you've reached a stage where you'd call your ecommerce venture a success, what is your actual life like? Specifically, what do you sell, how old are you, and how much control do you have over your time?

It would be interesting to get some genuine first-hand experiences rather than just the typical online success stories.

I'm not actually living like someone who lives on a yacht, but I earn enough to maintain a comfortable standard of living and don't have to report to a boss. That's already a major achievement for me. I am an influencer marketer, and the greatest advantage is that I have control over my own schedule. I place more importance on that than on having expensive cars or going to parties every weekend.

What isn't discussed enough is the fact that the business relies on you. Even if you earn a lot of money, you can still feel as though you're working around the clock since customers, suppliers, ads, and inventory all require your attention. The fact is that income does not automatically lead to freedom.
