Why are my Google Shopping ads barely spending?

I have been running Meta ads for my small brand for approximately six months and have been achieving a return on ad spend of about 2 to 3, which is why I decided to try Google Shopping as an additional channel. I began with a very limited budget of ten euros per day and currently have only four products in the campaign. What's odd is that after two days, Google has hardly spent any money; I've got just two clicks and about ten euros spent.

Since I'm using Maximize Clicks, I should at least be getting some traffic and generating data. I realize it's still early, but since I'm spending almost nothing, I'm starting to wonder whether I made a mistake when setting it up.

For people who regularly run Shopping campaigns, should you give it more time for now, or is there anything in particular you'd check first? I'm especially curious whether it's the low budget, the bids, or the product feed that's preventing deliveries.

I should review the bidding and the product feed before concluding it needs a bit more time; with such a small number of products, there could also be very little search volume, depending on what you're selling.

The fact that it is €10 per day doesn't make the issue by itself, if Google considers your bids non-competitive, it is simply unable to participate in sufficient auctions.

Be certain that your Merchant Center feed is free from errors as well, things such as titles, product categories, GTINs, images, availability, shipping, and so on can all influence how easily Google matches your products to searches.

It is certainly true that two clicks over two days constitute too little data to base a judgment of performance on, but one shouldn't simply wait either.

If I were running the campaign, I would first check whether the products in question are actually eligible and are receiving impressions. Having impressions but almost no clicks is a different issue from barely getting any impressions at all.
