Hello,

I am working on indexing my site and found a plugin that makes it easy. It's my first time using it, and I don't have much experience.

The plugin is called XML Sitemap Generator for Google, and when I'm in the dashboard, it says the following:

"Search engines haven't been notified yet. Write a post to let them know about your sitemap".

I usually write pages. However, I created a simple post and still see that message on the plugins dashboard.

Can someone please guide me on how to use this plugin properly?

You don’t need a plugin. WordPress has its own XML file. It’s a dynamically generated file. You don’t need to do anything to update it. Use this path /wp-sitemap.xml
