is SEO getting harder or SEO experts to make it seem hard?

Hi,

I'm kinda feeling demotivated with SEO, I love it but it's frustrating making people understand how basic it actually should be. SEO is getting harder every year due to higher competition. SEO is not the same and harder than it was before. The competition is getting stronger every time, and Google is increasingly unpredictable.

What are your views on this?

Google wants to serve up search relevance right? If they didn't do this, then people would stop using them. So focus on giving the relative content (authoritative), and get backlinks from relevant sites. That's all there is to it.
